Baking Floorplans in Unity
Objective: Define areas of the play area where character movement is allowed.
First we add the Navigation window to our editor.
In the Navigation tab, select Bake and click Bake. This will create a NavMesh — a “walkable” area. This area will be usable by both player-characters and AI-controlled characters.
We can see the NavMesh area in the Scene view as a blue area.
