Creating a Transparent Window Effect in Unity

Our asset artist gave us this beautiful window, but forgot to send a transparent window material! Even though we’re not visual artist (at least I’m not…), this is something we can do ourselves!
We begin by making a new material, and setting the Rendering Mode to Transparent.
The we set the Albedo alpha channel to 0.
Now we simply plug our new glass material into the window’s Mesh Renderer as a Materials element…
…and voilà! We get a view of the outside world.
