Panning the Camera

Now let’s make our cameras actually move! We’ll start by adding another Animation Track to the Timeline. We’ll drag our virtual camera into the Animator field, and since our camera doesn’t yet have an Animator, Unity will prompt us to add one.

We can now put a key frame at the beginning of the Timeline, hit record, and re-type the x position of the camera in the Inspector— this gives us our starting point. We then make a new keyframe near the end of the camera’s shot and set the position our camera where we want it to be positioned at the end of the shot. We can then stop recording. We can also double-click the camera’s Timeline clip to open the Animation window for more control.
